I've been trying to match up names to other 80's hits but it's pretty awkward. The main thing is, BWG has a song now because his performances have deserved one

I agree that Bradley deserves a song but who says that all songs must be from the 80's. We have six and a bit decades to choose from. I am sure that somebody will be witty and creative enough to rise to the challenge!

That's Elizabethan innit? We'll work on it I will start with "Fola" to the tune of "Lola" but this is nowhere near as ambitious as the Bradley song so I leave to others to complete the set. God dammit! I tried to get that one started AGES ago!

I cannot help feeling something could be done with this song for our Bobbin friends on 27th: Rockin' around the Christmas tree, at the Christmas party hop, Mistletoe hung where you can see, every couple tries to stop
Rocking around the Christmas tree, let the Christmas spirit ring, Later we'll have some pumpkin pie and we'll do some caroling.
You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear, Voices singing let's be jolly, 'Deck the halls with Bales of holly'[/b] la la la la la la la laThat last verse seems to lend itself well to the season and Mr Jolly's return to colston ave

Sorry about what follows:- To the tune of Brown Girl In the RingBradley Woods-Garness Tra la la la la We've got Bradley Woods-Garness Tra la la la la la Bradley Woods-Garness Tra la la la la He runs and he shoots and he scores Tra la la To the tune of My Old ManHe's so swish Fola Orilonish He don't dilly dally on the way Off down the wing With the full-back chasing He won't be caught 'cos he's really racing He cuts in He cuts out He cuts in He cuts out He's got his marker turning round and round Oh you won't catch Fola when he's on a mission So you might as well go home To the tune of Donovan's Mellow Yellow(4th line intended for 27th Dec !) We're just mad about Doswell And Dos is mad about us We're just mad about Doswell And we came here on the bus We're called the Super Yellows uh uh We're called the Super Yellows uh uh To the tune of The Wall (needs a bit more work on a rhyme!) We don't need no dodgy penalties (it almost scans of you try hard)We don't need no fluke own goals Cos we've got Dundo in the middle And he's a one-man SAS Hey, Dundo, give us all a wave

Not at all, look at the time of the posting ! They words came to me in a dream on the train, a bit like Joseph Smith but with a modern twist

Perhaps you could get some song sheets printed and organise a Choir practice!
