I don't know what a load of daft people they let use the internet these days  Simply all computers and servers have what's known as cache's these store previous images of web pages. By doing this the next time you visit a website you will notice it loads far quicker because its only loading a part of the information. When a change to a site is made if you are using something like AOL you have maybe 3 steps involved in making you see the new site, first your own PC which can be forced to update by ctr+F5 but you cannot control the servers up the line so you may not see the change for many hours. If you are using AOL quit out and use IE instead you may find you can see the new site in that but not in AOL. Get the picture its not rocket science folks |
