So one local derby got played on Monday, and it's looking good for the next on Saturday - staying mainly dry and above freezing. The GGL pitch may be a bit soggy after the thaw but should dry out over the next 48 hours.
It is forecast to turn colder on Sunday with the return of overnight frosts, so the rearranged SSC tie at Molesey on Monday looks the more vulnerable of our weekend fixtures.

Really? The way the rain has come down & tomorrow's forecast for more, I would have thought a weather related thread was highly relevant. I doubt if Goring's Mead drains that well.

It said 'festive fixtures' hence the removal, but now the word festive has been removed I have restuck the thread ;D Very wet today but set mild for tomorrow with a brisk wind so fingers crossed.

Might have been mild but it pissed down in Croydon for most of the day. I think a little more precipitation is forecast for tomorrow morning before it dries out in the afternoon. Just hope the YMCA pitch has taken it all in its stride.

Someone drop me a text if it's called off please! I'm leaving now because I'm meeting a friend in Horsham.
