Ok explain this to me...
a) A STREAKER at BSS level? Got to be a first that!
b) Dorchester's No6 getting sent off for dealing with it!
There's a video to prove it...

Violent conduct? Seriously though, the ref needs his f*cking head seeing to after that. Shocking decision.
Dorch had 2 more sent off late on as well.

I saw that come up on the vidi-printer I thought it said 'stretcher' tbh, you have got to feel for Dorchester who clearly must have lost their heads ending up with 8 on the pitch.
I don't think H+W reacted properly by going on to take advantage of the situation to win 3-1, we would be upset with the oppos if that happened to us?

What?! You mean if we were playing a side that had had 3 players sent off, you'd prefer it if our players just stood there for the rest of the match?! Although ONE of the sendings-off may seem harsh, the whole point of sending players off is to put your team at a disadvantage as a punishment for breaking the rules. Don't say you wouldn't want us to take advantage of that sort of situation!

99% of the time I would agree with that, but sometimes things happen which are blatantly wrong and in just and its up to those involved to do the right thing. Imagine if we lost the title because of something like that? I am still a believer in the spirit of the game so no I would not want us to take advantage of a similar situation.
I wonder what others think?

Nonsense. Not your fault the guy got sent off is it? It's his and\or the refs. Take advantage & crush your oppo.
If we lost the title because of something stupid like that, I'd look towards the player responsible, not the other side.

os, the lack of midweek football has turned you a bit cuckoo!!! The number of times we (and other supporters) have shouted 'off off off' at players, because we know it gives you that advantage.
So when Forbes got sent off, Lowestoft stopped playing? When we had 3 sent off at Walton Casuals, they stopped playing? This isn't the 1920s!

Anyway that sort of behaviour wouldn't happen at Sutton. Would it?

Anyway that sort of behaviour wouldn't happen at Sutton. Would it? It might, especially if I can find a Borat outfit ;D

I can't believe a streaker at that level.
I see the stewards were quick off the mark!

According to the Pompey forum Dorchester had 2 coaching staff dismissed as well.
Whilst you can be sent off for violent conduct against a fan this does seem a bit harsh. The stewards wouldn't have caught him for some time and the ref probably would have to take the players off the pitch. The fan also committed a criminal act by entering the field of play.
Unsurprisingly on the Pompey forum they all thought he should have been dismissed.

The ref followed the laws to the letter, but sometimes they ought to exercise common sense as well.

The referee was DAVID SPAIN. Would he have been even worse than the replacement ref we had for the Lowestoft game?

The ref followed the laws to the letter, but sometimes they ought to exercise common sense as well. He hasn't followed the letter of the law - he CHOSE to interpret the apprehension of a criminal as violent conduct when, to most other people it was necessary force. He's a muppet and the game should be replayed.
