Bury 2 Margate 1 - Margate the better side apparently. But look on the brightside we got a bonus with Lowestoft

Oops. I modified the post, cheers As for the Bury score, I would of thought that they would of won against Margate anyways. Great result for Hendon. I would say Lowestoft are out of the race now, it's between us and Bury

bury scoring was a sour taste but i stick by them dropping points in their run in we all expected them to win tonight but with home games against concord and wealdstone and away games at harrow 'ricay sutton and lowestoft they have a lot of tough games that they have to win and i cant see them winning all of those. Lowestofts result was brilliant as i feel they still had the potential to give a right push when i looked at their run in

One last result Maidstone 0 Croydon 1. Has any team ever finished a season with 0 home wins?

Corinthian-Casuals achieved this in 1973/4 season. They picked up just one point at home all season - guess who against? In fact we drew both matches with them & were the only team not to beat C-C that season.

Winning both their games in hand will put Lowestoft 7 points behind us, one higher than Tonbridge. To a certain extent its between us and Bury now. The only other 'bonus' was Bill and ricky drawing with bobbins.
Bury are away to Concord on Saturday - certainly not a home banker....
Croydon kept Maidstones 100% winless record going - looks like the Ryman Prem is saying bye bye to the stones...

The stats now say that only 2 sides are likely to surpass the 80pts total, I am still using my 82 pts as a benchmark to show what the other have to do. Bury are clearly going to win the title if we don't but deafeat against us will leave them needing 6 wins plus a draw from just 8 remaining matches:
Sutton United 34 - 70 (4 wins from 8 = 82pts) Bury Town 33 - 64 (6 wins from 9 = 82pts) Lowestoft Town 32 - 57 (9 wins from 10 = 84pts) Tonbridge Angels 33 - 59 (8 wins from 9 = 83pts) AFC Hornchurch 33 - 56 (9 wins from 9 = 83pts)

they are home to concord according to FWP Sorry, my mistake! But your point still remains, it certainly isn't a home banker. But we need 3 points on Saturday against AFC Hornchurch. Every point is vital, and whilst we're still totally in control, we can't afford to lessen the grip on the advantage at the top at this point. It's still tight at the top.
