If Tony can be committed and make a real effort to turn the team around then I'm happy to have him back. If not...well. I'm willing to let him prove himself before saying anything else. This is his FOURTH chance to prove himself to Sutton United Football Club. He's walked out on us three times so far. How "committed" are you expecting him to be?

I would be suprised if Mark Watson came back the way things are going.

There should be a list of witty suggestions for nicknames to welcome back TQ but I can't think of any.
Rubber ball (bouncing back, you know the song)
I'm stuck now, lack of inspiration

How do you know what Quinno is thinking?
OK, so he has got a previous record, so to speak. But give the guy a chance. You never know.

You mean give him a second third fourth chance.
I could understand the move to Canvey as that was a move to a higher level of football, so was pleased when we took him back. But he then walked out on us and signed for our major rivals, and we took him back. And then he walked out and went to another of our rivals. And once again, we've taken him back. Something is inherently wrong with that.

Get Paul Mckenna and Yuri Geller in, install a chaise longue in the gym and get some tapes that play whale noises.

I'm not terribly surprised to see another player who played under John Rains back at the club. Of all the people signed by Ian Hazel, how many have actually been better than the ones here under John (bearing in mind that all managers say they will only sign players "better than those already at the club")? Beyond possibly McBean and Tanner, I'm struggling. Maybe at this level it's not so much coaching qualifications that matter, but an ability to attract the right players to the club?

Trouble is that you're only going to play for a club that's fairly local so the catchment area isn't huge. I'm sure there are better players out there but as you say, can we attract them?

I wouldn't call Warren McBean, living up in North London, 'local'
