Our second penalty changed the game.Just as Molesey had got back into it the ref guessed a hand ball which clearly came off the defenders chest.Knocked the stuffing out of them & game over.

Wonder if any of these guys can be given a few games over the remainder of the season? Could be a good opportunity to have a closer look. Especially if we start looking like drifting along in mid table.

Ok, we started with a smattering of first teamers and a healthy number from the Suburban team and finished with alot of James B's talent on show. Had U's entered the Sub team in a County Cup it would have been in the Premier Cup and that includes teams from the division below Molesey's current level. So, all in all, that was a great performance and shows why they are doing so well this season.
Yes, some of the talent is raw but it was the movement and speed going forward that impressed and did for Molesey. Ronnel's goal was a great volley from a fine Daly cross & Chris Benjamin got a fine brace. Once again Kevant Serbony impressed. Just good to see them enjoying themselves and celebrating the goals.
Have to say our second pen was farcial - not sure about their one - and how the 7 was not carded for his challenge from behind is a mystery. Could have been a red!
Anyway, semi-final again to please us SSC lovers and god entertainment for 8 quid. Well done to all.

Excellent game tonight (The win was the most important thing), with goal and action to boot. We are now one step closer to the magical sixteen and the record help by Dulwich for the last 38 years! Also on course with Woking for the most final appearances as well. Where's the link to your blog Duke?? Don't keep your fans waiting in vain....

Other semi Godalming or Woking (4th March) v The Plod Godalming beat Woking 2-0 in what must've been the poorest penalty shoot-out in history ;D

So that means its Chipstead/AFCW v us and Godalming V Plod.
According to the Surrey FA website, this is due to be played on 20th March (Which is the day after we're due to play at Billericay, so doubtful it will be that day). Also it seems that the ref that day is Charles Breakspear (who has reffed quite a number of our games before).
And before you doubters worry about the SSC, we've already won more in that competition than we did in the FA Cup - losing semi finalists get £500, finalists £1000 and winners £2000

2-0 in a penalty shoot-out?! Good grief, that must have been absolutely dire.
I'm going to make sure I sit next to the Woking fan in my afternoon training session today...
