My poor Salisbury friends are on the train an hour away! They'll be happy with enough beer though I dare say ;-)

I know it's unlikely but if anyone hears of any local games that have survived this mad spring weather let us know. Spiderbee? Anything escaped in the CCL?

Hampton isn't off yet
If it is on then a nice highlights package will be up of their game. Even if everything is off I'll go down to the astro at Cranleighans

Having just been over the park with my dog here in Horsham, I have never seen it in a worse state, and yet at 3.00 yesterday the pitches were fine. Even the cricket square, which obviously has not had anyone on it for 6 months, would not be suitable for football.
My neighbour manages the village team here and says that their league is set to abandon the season.
Match Sec tells me the inspection at GGL today lasted about 30 seconds.

Only 2 games survived today - Truro hosted Welling, with the inevitable scoreline of 0-3 whilst Bath hosted Basingstoke. For most of the game we'd dropped down a place as Bath were leading 1-0. Basingstoke seemed to have equalised right near the end.
It's in injury time now
