Firstly why should anyone get their knickers in a twist about some banter!
Hard fought win last night which we deserved.Probably taken a lot out of the players & with AFC W coming up on Thursday & Farnborough on Saturday they might run out of steam.

Here are some observations on the the two penalty incidents.
The shove on Dundo was more cynical than brutal, but as well as awarding us the pen the ref also booked the Maidenhead defender. That suggests a certain confidence in his own decision.
Had the ref given us a second pen for the stoppage time collision then I think he'd have had to send off the home keeper for a professional foul. He may have been reluctant to do that at such a late stage in the game when we'd almost certainly got the three points in the bag. That said, had Maidenhead snatched a last gasp equaliser we'd have been justifiably annoyed!

Why do people constantly confuse banter with abuse? Banter is meant to be jokey, comical comments between individuals or within a group. Last night wasn't, they were too far away for a start!
And I don't wear knickers either.

And I don't wear knickers either. Thank god for that. Just the thought nearly put me off my lunch.

Oh I bet you do sometimes You're quite right though. Banter should be witty, not just verbal blunt instruments.

And I don't wear knickers either. Is that, just not at football matches?

Not during the week, there is a certain level of protocol to be observed.

I wasn't referring to anyone in particular.Whether it was banter or abuse it happens at all levels of football.Just ignore it.

You ask KBB how nasty and vindictive their fans were towards the U's players in the last 5 mins. He had to be up their end to ensure he got his train and apparently they were bordering on the hysterical (you'd never find me like that, ha ha).
We're not all of the same character delboy and boy would the world be boreing if we were.

Yes but you have been to enough football matches to know what passion can do and as soon as they walk out of the ground its all forgotten.Just look at the abuse we were giving WSM for time wasting. As i said i wasn't referring to your comment in particular.Just the general comments already made.

And what provocation had the U's players offered Maidenhead fans last night to get that sort of reaction? I can understand having ago at the ref but all U's players did was carry on playing. Christ, we even tried to score a second goal rather than waste time.
We had a go at WSM because of their appalling attitude towards the game; thankfully, neither side did anything than play out a well contested game last night. To compare the two matches is frankly absurd.

I get what you're saying now: it's OK for our fans to do it, but not for anyone else.

Not sure where in any of the above I said that Sal but if that's how you wish to interpret it, that is, of course, your business.
