....in previous seasons we have been very protective of the pitch by playing the majority of our pre season friendlies away, which apart from the fitness angle earn little or no money for the club.

So far we have 4 very attractive home games, which should do wonders for clubs finances before the season kicks off.

Will any work be done on the pitch prior to the season. We now have some additional skillful players and to get the best out of them we need a decent playing surface that will last the season. Weather permitting.

Considering the weather last winter, the pitch was still good at the end of season. Actually, it got too dry and was bumpy as a result.

Since the move to banstead, it's been really good. 4 PSFs won't do it much harm
