Farnborough? I bet bornatotter is over the moon with that one Wonder if they are home or away. Logic suggests that AFCW will be at home, but that means at least 4 home friendlies. I'll wait till that's confirmed by the club

We are now able to confirm another attractive pre-season game for 23rd July. Go to www.suttonunited.netPaul Doswell has done so much for this club, we are lucky to have him.

....in previous seasons we have been very protective of the pitch by playing the majority of our pre season friendlies away, which apart from the fitness angle earn little or no money for the club.
So far we have 4 very attractive home games, which should do wonders for clubs finances before the season kicks off.
Will any work be done on the pitch prior to the season. We now have some additional skillful players and to get the best out of them we need a decent playing surface that will last the season. Weather permitting.

Blimey, if we can't play on it in July/Aug, when can we play on it? Considering the weather last winter, the pitch was still good at the end of season. Actually, it got too dry and was bumpy as a result.

I think the issue with the pitch was when the reserves and youths played on it week in week out. Since the move to banstead, it's been really good. 4 PSFs won't do it much harm
