I have to say these Gandermonium reports are just fantastic, so much fun to read and it’s clear you are all getting the maximum out of watching SUFC. I’m struggling to overcome the effects of COVID and don’t know when I’ll be fit enough to get to a game, but I’m missing it terribly and reading Gandermonium is a big help. Cheers Terrier! Hope you're feeling better soon and glad to hear our crap is keeper your spirits up. Thanks a lot. I’ve been well aware of Gandermonium for a long time and I’ve always enjoyed it. As I said in my original post, it is clear to see that the various contributors get so much enjoyment out of following Sutton United and recognise that the football is just part of the day out. I congratulate you. I’m afraid I’m only a very (very) light drinker, so no way could I ever keep up with you all. I actually forced myself to the Walsall game yesterday, although, to be honest I couldn’t concentrate on it and the game passed me by a bit. Unfortunately I think it’ll be a while longer before I can get back up to a Huddersfield Town game.

"...and Smarty tells us the tale of a couple of their coaches getting told to pipe down during the game after loudly giving their lads advice from inside the away end."
Yes, two cheeky chancers ever so slightly outside of the technical area got both barrels from one of our lot, after which they rather wisely opted to keep schtum.

"With the amount of people now converging on Gander Green Lane these days, the unfortunate scenario is that getting a drink in a short space of time is a near bloody miracle. So much so that people are now buying cans from Day’s..."I wasn't going to have a sound off about that insalubrious fleapit, but now I've been triggered... I bought a couple of cans from Day's before the Walsall game at the price of £2.50 a can, as gaudily advertised on the fluorescent signage. After the game, I bought the same two cans as before (well, not the exact same two cans as before, but you know what I mean) only this time I was told it was £3.50 a can (an uplift of 40% in the space of two hours, that's hyperinflation for you). When I pointed out they were clearly advertised at an asking price of £2.50 before the game, the surly adolescent behind the counter claimed "No, it's always been £3.50". Not having a handle grafted to the side of my head I didn't appreciate being treated like a mug, so I asked for my money back and left the store. Next time, I'll take my chances at the club bar or go thirsty. I know Croydon legend Kirsty Anna MacColl (RIP) was a fan, but you won't catch me singing "Thank you for the Day's"...
