2nd half of Merstham v Reading Town 4-0 Merstham, know there's a place I ain't been for about 25yrs, you think out pitch is bad when it rains. The only place I ever came back from as muddy as the players and the only time I have seen a supporter stop the ball going in the net

The pitch seemed quite reasonable today and its the first time iv'e been there.Looks like they are heading for the Ryman as they are streets ahead in the CCL.

Farsley Celtic v Barrow in the Cup for me. (Another BSP ground to add to my list!) This was a good open game, which finished one apiece. I was impressed by Barrow (managed by one Phil Wilson!), who belied their underdog status, played the better football, and were a little unlucky not to win the tie. Their number 10 Nick Rogan (a skilful left-sided player who scored their goal) may be a name to look out for in the future. The downside to the day was having Millwall fans for company on the trains to and from Leeds.

I too plumped for a brief gander at the ressies and despite arriving later than I would have liked I still saw 3 of the goals!

Havant & Waterlooville v Leighton for me, seeing as it was only down the road and they seem to like me there Particularly now i've seen them in the FA Cup twice and they've won both games. Possibly the dullest 3-0 win ever. The goals were excellent though; Pacquette's lobbed shot for the third was exquisite, the first was a goalkeeping cock up worthy of Max Aneke prodded in by Baptiste and the second was a textbook corner and glancing header that we could do well to learn from. Leighton didn't look interested, couldn't finish and their keeper was a liability. That was about it though, painfully dull when Havant weren't scoring. Leighton fans are an odd bunch. I didn't hear a peep out of them all game and then they started singing in the bar during the draw :/

Saw Arundel beat Wick in the Sussex RUR Charity Cup at Wick. Not a bad game, Arundel won 2-1.
I did something that I never do - bought a raffle ticket - and won first prize! 76 other hardy paying souls there too, mostly from Arundel.
