I thought Woking had released McCallum. Also, no Harry O for Dover.

Good luck H. Moving 1 step up is still a big step and with 30 games on BT vision next season could also raise the profile of any player in the Conference. Its not that bigger step up.Look how the likes of Woking & Dartford did last season.

I must say I don't think the step to Woking will be a good one for him and I will certainly be disappointed that we havn't kept him if he only goes to Woking at least Barnet has Davids and Fairclough who are decent managers.

Great news for Sutton - though I'm sorry for Harry that he hasn't obtained the move that his talent clearly merits. Difficult to undestand why Conference Premier clubs at least haven't been fighting for Harry's signature given his form and recent England C recognition.
I agree with Delboy that the squad looks a little unbalanced - with a surfeit of (very talented) midfield players while looking a little thin (cover wise) in defence and up front. I know that a number of our midfield players can also play in defence or up front (or both) - but it's never quite the same as having 'specialists' in those positions. I guess that it's the (small) price we pay for having a small but very capable squad.

There are pros and cons with everything - one of the many problems I felt with the start of last season were that some players knew they would get a game even if they didn't play well because there wasn't any competition for places. To win this league, we really have to boss the midfield, so having healthy competition for those slots could well work in our favour. Not sure we are too light up front either - if we go for a 4-4-2 then the 2 could be any two from the Jamie T, Jamie S, Chris B, Marvin, Dundo and newboy Ben "Obi Wan" Kudjodji and possibly even Binns - 7 players possibly filling. Defence is a little thinner, but there's at least 6 filling in 4 slots. And with the midfield, remember at least two of those players listed here suttonunited.proboards.com/thread/5279/squad-2013-2014 are already due to go on loan, and it's unlikely McKimm will play, you have a possible 4 from 7. I'd say that it's a pretty balanced squad at the moment.

Its great for us that Harry is staying, and I don't think its bad for him either. There is no doubting Harrys ability but he is still developing as a player and will only improve under, Dos and the coaching staff we have. I could understand dissapointment if he was a player in his mid twenties but he isn't. I honestly feel a good season with us and another year of experience will see teams of a higher level queuing up for his signiture.
Geat to have you back Harry!
