Seems to be a general opinion that we're third favourites for the title at 7's (PaddyPower/Bet365) - 8's on skybet and as high as 9/1 on BetVictor..
Unsurprisingly we're behind Eastleigh (favourites) and Ebbsfleet.

Looking at the history, seems like the signing of Fleetwood at Eastleigh have caused all their odds to shorten. I may well be wrong but I just can't see Eastleigh winning the league. Ebbsfleet yes, but not Eastleigh.

I can't see myself replying "Skrill South" when someone inevitably asks what league Sutton are in. Think I'll stick with Conference South

How quickly will this become the "Squirrel South"?

Do not mock the power of the Skrill! They are here to take over our football for their own alien purposes

I think Eastleigh will be our main rivals & Gravesend will take a while to gel.Bromley could be in the shake up as well.

For me it is likely to be Ebbsfleet, Eastleigh, us and Dover pushing for top spot. I can see Chelmsford pushing for a playoff spot unless they balls it up at the end of the season again. There's always a surprise package, don't know who (that's because its a surprise).

I really can't see Chelmsford challenging this year, but otherwise I think we're part of the 4 that will. Add to that Boreham Wood and the "surprise" could be Eastbourne.
Is it time that Maidenhead finally go down?

Tonbridge could be a side that do better. If they sign a defender currently training and playing with them they could push top 8. Other than Eastleigh who I rate clear and overwhelming favourites Dover and Chelmsford may still be play offs and perhaps will do ok with slightly lower expectations. And Ebbsfleet should also be top 3 or 4 if they get things in order. If I see any value in betting perhaps Boreham Wood going up in play offs or each way would be it. Bookies otherwise seem to be giving little away.

It was mentioned to me recently that Whitehawk could also be challenging but they don't have the ground to go up.

Boreham Wood seem to get a bit stronger each season and I think could challenge for a play-off place again. Another side I expect to see in the mix is Havant & Waterlooville - like us they started last season poorly but surged up the table after Christmas.
