I really don't think we should be bothered by what opposition managers say about the club. We should concentrate on the next game.

“It was a sweet victory for the club and we take great delight in that,” said Gayle. “I think we thoroughly deserved it for our first-half performance, especially. “Sutton have to earn every victory at this level before they even think about being promoted and we are a team in progression. “They like to intimidate but it doesn't wash with me. I don't know what coffee they were drinking coming here and thinking Marcus Gayle and his team were going to be any sort of walkover. "There is a tinge of arrogance in terms of who they think they are compared to everybody else.................” Agree with the Aleman - Marcus Gayle said similar stupid things in August when we beat them, and listening to man with limited intellect like him I'm quite happy to ignore. As long as we learn from the mistakes we made in the last match and don't make them in the next, Gayle can say we're funded by a russian oligarch for all I care!

I agree we should be more concerned about our next 21 matches rather the what a opposition manager has to say. But I would be interested in what he basis his view on, or where the walkover bit comes from???

He don't know what coffee we're drinking, I reckon he's on far stronger stuff than that after those comments. Sounds like he still has the old "little-Wimbledon" syndrome running through his veins!
What a load of absolute bollocks he comes out with.

We were doomed today, playing in BLUE (?!) socks.... That was a bit weird. With Sutton in white/white/blue and Staines in yellow/blue/white, it didn't half look like the teams had swapped socks for a bit of a laugh. I haven't seen us in blue since that time we turned up at Thurrock without an away kit. Not that I believe the colour of our socks had any effect on the result

We lost at Thurrock one year playing in blue - we should ban the colour completely from any U's kit
