I'm pretty sure we have sold more than one set of 91 in the past when we've had larger crowds. The biggest win I've ever had on a Golden Goal was £40 once at Tooting & Mitcham ( A Surrey Senior Cup match ), but the ticket cost £1 rather than the 50p we charge, so effectively it was the same as having 2 of our winning tickets The present arrangement was agreed at the annual general meeting. The sale of 50/50's has so far exceeded the usual golden goals sales mainly due to the fact that the late comers have a chance to participate when golden goals are often sold out before the match starts.

Went into the club shop last night...wanted the away kit...did not have my size...told to wait until next season....really! I feel that this comment is unwarranted on the basis that one is not able to provide solely for an individual. Away shirts have never sold to the same level as Home.

But it is July...the season has not even started...had I been asking in March I could understand but in July come on..! The shirt order was placed last season and as there were no changes in the strip no further order has been placed due to the fact that we have so many still un-sold (albeit your particular size is NOT amongst them) If others were to request the size you require then it might be possible to place a further order providing it falls within the minimum of 25 - please draw a line under this - SUSC is sorry that we could not supply your needs

Had that been explained to me when I was in the shop instead of the strange reason I was given we would not have had this conversation.
Line drawn.

To a CUSTOMER both of those statements are exactly the same.

The demand must be there, for both home and away shirts. Even if 25 of each were ordered I'm sure they would sell throughout the season!

Demand is always there for both home and away shirts and we have stock in the club shop. However, if I understand the situation correctly, the shirt required was of a particular size that is currently out of stock.
I will check on the stock situation when I am in the club shop tomorrow but as it is a supporters club shop and not Top Shop, there will be a limit on the amount of stock we can invest in and when we can order more. I will pop something on the forum tomorrow after checking with Nigel again and hopefully, we can clear this up.
ADMIN. If you want to pop along and see me if you are at the game tomorrow (I will be on the turnstile at GGL end tomorrow encouraging everybody to "Enjoy the Game" as now made famous in the latest Gandermonium blog), I will be happy to help try and explain the situation and resolve this for you.
If I had my way, everybody would be in a replica shirt and GGL would be a sea of amber and chocolate!
Cheers,
Mark

so once more after MarkN steps in to throw some clarity on the situation, and potentially some info on getting ADMIN a shirt. The whole thread turns pernickety, with insults.
Best left to MarkN and Admin to sort it out eh !
