Our participation in this seasons FA Trophy starts at the end of the month, with the draw for the 3Q round taking place tomorrow morning I presume. I'm led to believe one of Dos' targets for this season is to make the last 16 in this competition - let's hope for a kind draw tomorrow then.

.....an interesting draw, not one that Dos would have chosen, I suspect.

Their current form is in stark contrast to ours - five wins on the trot. *Sigh*

Don't suppose there's any chance of a supporters coach going to this one is there? No way I could get there if not :/

Hereford have dumped us out of the FA Cup three times. This could be payback.

I noticed that we were the last ball to be drawn out too!
We have a long journey, but not as long as Hemel who go to Truro.

Just bought my train tickets - out via Newport, back via Worcester. Forecast for next weekend doesn't look too bad, so it should be game on. I see that Hereford won again yesterday (3-1 at Frome) so they go into the tie in much better form than us.

Since August, Hereford have had the ground capacity reduced to 1000 (thanks NomadicU for the info), and it seems like there's only one place we can go. It's not that horrid bit we were in last time thank heavens. The reduction is due to the fact that Edgar St failed it's safety certificate. A spokesman from Herefordshire council said
"The club will only currently be allowed to play football matches in front of 1,000 spectators using both the Merton Terrace and Merton Stand at Edgar Street, as opposed to a full capacity crowd, until all of the partner agencies involved are satisfied that any outstanding safety issues have been properly addressed."
Bearing in mind the financial worries the club has, it's doubtful that those issues will be resolved anytime soon. Not that it's a major concern. Hereford have not had a 500+ crowd since August bank holiday, and infact have all been below 400 since mid-September. If you go to their message board our game isn't even a footnote compared to the in house fighting they seem to be having.

On a more positive note, we played away to the runaway leaders of their division last season and drew. With the correct approach we should win on Saturday

I definitely agree with your last sentence but what's last season got to do with it?
