Yep forgot Medlock's ineligible for the Trophy, is there any possibility we can get Bignall back in the squad for this Saturday's game?

I'm erring towards garethl's opinion of this. Kane's great, but as the pitches get heavier, it's showing he's struggling a bit more (a la Fola and Danny Phillips) and at best we'll get 45 mins of him per game. The enigma of Jessy is that he can be brilliant one day and by far the worst player on the pitch another. I was more conerned earlier in the season that he was the "man to lead the forward line", which clearly he's not that player yet (not helped that he didn't have the right forward to play off). Losing both of them is a loss and I wish them well, especially Jessy who's had a horrid couple of weeks, but a bigger loss this season for me was losing Binns to injury.

Jessy has not neen able to deliver for a full 90 minutes in any game this season. I'm afraid I've never been convinced by Kane. The reality is that anyone who is not a first team regular is likely to be moved on, considering our poor start to the season. I can't see why moving on players who aren't in the fisrt team can be seen as panic, just sensibly making space for new squad additions.

Good points but it is sad to see a player who has made over 50 appearances leave the club. Players rarely stay for more than two years, I guess that is how it is now

Losing Jessy could be a blessing in disguise, when he played we reverted to lumping the ball up the pitch,in his general direction, instead of going through midfield

At Bromley last weekend, we arguably played our best football of the season with two Jamie Taylor type forwards who used their movement and intelligence to give a very good centre back pairing a tough match.
That is how we played last season and got second place. The personnel may have changed but hopefully our method of play that this season has been a bit more direct at times, will be similar to that of last season. When we did it at Whitehawk in the second half we ran out comfortable winners.
I wish Jessy all the best back in France and hope he has no repeat of his recent collapse.
I will express my regret in seeing Kane leave though. While he hasn't produced the form of last season, he is a young player and a dip in form may be expected. Obviously we don't see what happens in training and as I say Kane has not produced the form of last season. We will, no doubt get Dos's view on stuff later. Still very disappointing and I wish him all the best at Eastbourne.

I wish Jessy and Kane all the best neither did a lot wrong for us and both have added goals and match winning performances while at the club.
I can understand Jessy's decision which may or may not be related to his recent health scare. As for Kane we probably just need a different type of player, without Binnsie we need players who can go past defenders and that wasn't part of his game.

Shame about Kane but it's the manager's opinion that matters most and Dos knows what he's doing.

Poor Jessy. Obviously this is the best thing for him.

Hmm.I was thinking he was a little bit out of his depth in the CS but only time will tell.Don't think he will win many headers !

Has Jo Kuffour left the club?
I thought he was injured.
