Fantastic result against a very good Ebbsfleet team. Well done to Dos,the players and the backroom staff.Marvelous stuff! Not sure what Ebbsfleet team you were watching - we definitely were generally second best to you today - 2 awful goals given away (the first should have been pulled up for handball in the build up, but we still had time to recover and didnt) and only a very soft penalty for us to show for our efforts. Sutton fully deserved the win today - the better side all over the pitch for the most part.

Nice to win again. Hadn't seen us win since the Staines game!! Funny old game! 2 good early goals and it proved enough. Plenty of effort and spirit shown. Like the look of Collins at the back. Scannell showed his ability and was excellent. A bit of quality in the final third proved the difference. Still not exactly water tight at the back but better and grateful (for the most part) we went with 4 across the back. Gomis I thought was decent too. Hopefully we can kick on from here.

As optimistic as I try to be I really didn't expect that today, and I am not sure who was more shell shocked after 11 mins, them or us? Having said that Scans showed what we have being missing with a brilliant cross for Gomis to head home our first. The second was expertly taken by Wellard, the type of finish we have been longing for. At that stage it looked although we could score every time we got forward, but slowly the big spending Fleet got their act together and started to cause us a few problems.
Nice to see one come back off the woodwork, that is one of a number we are owed. I thought everyone of our players were immense today, from Howe's sure handling to Southam's leadership to the work of Flitchett and Gomis up top.
I know this side has ability, but that second half performance was everyone to a man wanted to win, and there were bodies flying in everywhere in that last 10mins to keep out a very talented Fleet side.
My Man of the Match today goes to Dos, though, there is a long interview on its way from the boss which every U's fan should watch.
Also a very soft penalty again today, certainly wouldn't have been given in the Premiership.

I'm not sure we played any better than in some other matches this season, although, considering the opposition, it was a superb 3 points.
The difference was that we scored early and then added to it. Scanners was involved in both goals. Crossing for BG to head home (about the only time Clark didn't win a header all match) and then making a determined run before passing to RW who did the rest with a lovely finish into the bottom corner.
'Fleet finished the half strongly and I thought enjoyed a lot of second half possession. However, the lads stayed strong, stood up to the test and worked bloody hard to see out the win after conceding what looked yet another incredibly soft penalty decision (why don't we get them - Evans at WSM for example?).
The new fellas did well with Aaron Howe making one excellent save in the second half. Still have to have some sympathy for Tom Lovelock though. Fitch worked up front against a formidable centre-back pairing. Not sure who did win MOM but would hope for Scanners, although any of the defenders could have taken it.
Top win. We got little from the ref until late on which helped relieve the pressure as those last few minutes ticked slowly by.
