I think Justin and Darren are to be commended on their proactivity and wonderfully positive approach, including their engagement on here, please don't put them off! Thank you for your kind words. We are doing our best with the limited resources we have. As our games won't clash with Sutton's 1st team home games and some people are unable to travel to your away games (which are far and wide) it would be great if anyone who has no plans when we are at home pop in to see us to give us additional support. It's only a £1 to get in if your a loyal Sutton United season ticket holder and any money spent at the tea bar or bar goes back into the club they love. So it's a win win for everybody :-)

The one thing that struck me about the footage was the amount of time the Casuals players were given in the penalty area. Stressing to the lads the importance of closing players down in and around the box and getting blocks in whenever possible would be a simple way of reducing the figures in the 'goals against' column.

Totally agree our defending last night was very poor giving the attacking Casuals players too much space and time around our goal and they punished us every time for poor defending. The only positive side is that it's pre season and if we are due to make major mistakes like that we need to learn from them and switch on quicker come our league season opener on Friday 7th when every point on the board counts.
