Guys we have very chants when we sing as they are simple and classic and suits the club. I think we should try to introduce some more modern chants. Possibilities: Its our own town (Clap clap clap clap) I follow the (Clap clap clap clap) Sutton fc (Clap clap clap clap) The team for me (Clap clap clap clap) X3 Hes one of our own Hes one of our own Louis John Hes one of our own (When hes back from Hemel)[/b] Best laugh of the year so far. Thanks a lot. Apologies to ryandawkins , i meant no offence. It really did make me laugh.

Well I think it's great that some of our younger fans are making an effort to support the team creatively and we should be encouraging them, not belittling them. You carry on boys and ignore Billy, nobody cares what he thinks because he doesn't have the sense to understand that everyone is different.

Perhaps one of the reasons we don't seem to attract many younger supporters is because the older supporters are so patronising. And I don't mean Billy. Sing on lads!

I found that was the case when I first started coming to GGL at the age of 13. Unfortunately, 20 years later those same people are still patronising me I made up loads of songs in those days. Nobody joined in, but at least I tried, like these guys

Jared is a different person. He isn't able to attend as regularly now but he used to make up awesome songs

I love the chants. Not the wonderwall one though, that one can be put to bed.

My point is I've never met a Sutton supporter better than making chants than Jared! But credit to those who do and are trying new things - not all of them will stick but a couple may do and end up being sung by future Sutton supporters.

I'm not sure that we really need new chants but we definitely do need more chanting/singing so I'm not too fussed what it is as long as it is positively supporting the team

I love the chants. Not the wonderwall one though, that one can be put to bed. Wonderwall was released when I was at the peak of my music-discovering years, in my early teens. Imagine how old I felt when I realised the song was older than the lads singing it at GGL
