I know the majority of people will probably be working, but is anyone else popping along this morning?

Sadly working. A bit more notice and I could have worked from home.
Taz will be there.

Just had to pull away now to head up to town but was 0-0 at half-time. I think Dos mentioned in Saturday's post-match interview that he'd field a team in the first half this morning to start against Casuals tomorrow night in the SSC.
What I could make out:-
(1) Shaw, (2) Strange (?!), (3) Spence, (4) youth, (5) John, (6) Nicky Bailey, (7) Munro, (8) Wright, (9) Dillon (yth), (10) Fleetwood (c), (11) Burke-Hamilton (yth).
Great to see Nicky Bailey back in a yellow shirt (he might be playing just to keep his fitness up - who knows).
We hit the woodwork twice - first a cracking effort from Fleets then a low drilled shot from Spence.

Bailey was released by Barnet on the 23rd Dec, so he is looking for a new club.

Am I right in saying he would be ineligible anyway tomorrow night if he was technically signed?

He would have to be signed by noon today I believe.

Signing him would be a real coup. Dos may be unaware just how well thought of Nicky Bailey is with the fans here. I remember one of his last games for us, the Easter derby at Carshalton, where he showed such quality, for the entire game, that was head and shoulders above anybody else on the pitch. It was quite scary. He made one run, from well inside his own half, evading half the Carshalton team, before belting a long shot against the upright! Despite only playing for us as a teenager, he's a legend in my eyes.

I remember that run very well. Took place right in front of me. Would have been a great goal.

Would love to see him back with us. Remember as a kid thinking he would go onto a higher level.
What was the score in the end?.
