absolutly appauling today, first shot on target to test the keeper was in the 89th and 2nd shot on target in the 90th we score. ernie got the squad wrong today Paul Honey should be starting or at least getting brought on instead of Nicky Greene, Warren should be starting with Dundas as well. Today felt like what it was when Hazel was in charge, not good enough. we should be beating teams like Maidenhead, we must get the 3 points against H&R on new years day.
Jason Goodchild, Nicky Greene, Rob Hughes & from what i saw today Liam Wright should not be playing at this level they are simply not good enough.
No Flash Photography either please!!! (only people behind the goal in the second half will understand that)

Forget the timings above, Dundas scored in the 83rd minute, just after their keeper had denied McBean from 5 yards. 1-1 was about right, although neither keeper really had anything to do and it's probably a surprise either team managed to score ! Not a great game.

Ug is the only Midfield holding player we have so if he don't play then we will lose the midfield, its as simple as that and quite why EH can't see I have no idea. You don't leave 110% of true grit on the bench in a battle its like leaving the tanks at home on D Day Nuff Said

Can't see why we don't go 4-4-2, Dundas has to work his backside off with no support and the 5 across the middle just doesn't work without having Paul H in there with Bash. A cold and forgettable 70/75 minutes, last 15 weren't too bad and we probably could've nicked it. 4-4-2 made the difference for me, support for Dundas and we definitely should've had some Ug power in there.

i'd say he was a bit anonymous most of the game, so hopefully much more to come

Today was a poor game between two poor sides. Felt really sorry for Dundas who was trying really hard up front, as he does every time he pulls on a Sutton shirt, but today there was little or no support for him. We certainly missed Honey in the center of midfield today, and i certainly don't see why we can't start with a 4-4-2 especially in a game such as today which we should be looking to win if we are to even contemplate staying up this season (which is looking more and more distant as the winless weeks pass). Isn't Henry back for the Hampton game on Tuesday? I thought Henry, McBean and Dundas linked up well at Welling before Henry was sent-off.
At least we didn't lose today and we're now on an unbeaten run!

The best you can say about today's match was that we still haven't lost away under Ernie Howe since his first game in charge. Let's be honest, this was an awful game that would have been an embarrassment in the Combined Counties League. This was easily as bad as some of the early season performances under Ian Hazel. What saved us from defeat was that the opposition were as feeble as we were. If we can't beat a side as obviously limited as Maidenhead then frankly we don't deserve to stay up.

A truly awful match - the only plus being - the vast improvement of the York Rd pitch from what it used to be at this time of the year.
As stated above, we need to win matches & 4-5-1 is a negative approach. Craig Dundas has been oustanding in every game he has played so far but he needs support & today's midfield with the exception of LW just didn't do it. I thought Bash did OK in a holding role, Maskell showed he can pass but disappeared in the second half, while the rest of the midfield failed to contribute.
This was agame we had to win, bearing in mind Magpies awful home record but after the promise of the BS performance & the point at Hampton, yesterday was a massive disappointment & the performance was really that of a team in our current position.
I thoght the ref did ok, but for his need to give long drawn out lectures, when a quick word was enough was some of the reason why so much time was added on at the end - that & the two clashes of heads. He also missed a couple of fouls on Craig, the first of which saw us lose possession & result in their goal. Still a massive improvement from Boxing Day's idiot.
We have now played exactly half the season and won once. I am afraid that record points to only one outcome. There is more chance of me giving up smoking in the NY than U's retaing CS status come the end of April!

We were crap. A very winnable game and it takes us 80 minutes to show even a vague sign of life. Had Maidenhead not been almost as bad as us, we've have got smashed.
IMO there's nothing wrong with 4-5-1, but as already mentioned, the M/F was absolutely shocking. And as we all know, you've got to be competitive in the middle of the park and support your lone frontman to make it work. We didn't.
Got out of jail again. But we REALLY need to up the ante. Where was the bite and desire?? We're supposed to be fighting for our fecking lives and we strolled about like we already had 30 points on the board.
Not good enough.
