As I live in Redhill I would've liked the earlier round to have been away and likewise this one. Welcome to the Redhill branch of the SUFC supporters section.

Met Police v Kingstonian v Leatherhead? Is that a 3 way match? I believe Kingstonian vs Leatherhead was originally a draw so they need to play eachother again and the winner of that game will play Metropolitan Police FC.... and the draw says Kingstonian or Leatherhead.... Actually, I think it’s the original tie rather than a replay, Ryan (I believe I’m right in saying that there aren’t any replays in the SSC these days). But hey, at least you don’t need to go to Specsavers, unlike Dave!

Re the home game with Merstham, I’m getting married that day so getting away for the match could be problematic. Any ideas?

Re the home game with Merstham, I’m getting married that day so getting away for the match could be problematic. Any ideas? I presume the knowledge of what they were getting into was known ahead of setting a date? It is the risk you take - could yours be the first UK marriage to be performed via skype.....?

Re the home game with Merstham, I’m getting married that day so getting away for the match could be problematic. Any ideas? Move your reception to the Times Square Lounge. Disappear quietly for 45 minutes. Twice. It's quite easy to disappear at your own wedding. Everyone assumes you are just being very busy and important.

Full quarter-final draw made earlier this morning. No either / or! Just Met Police v Leatherhead v Kingstonian as opposed to the other either/or.

Re the home game with Merstham, I’m getting married that day so getting away for the match could be problematic. Any ideas? I read a post by a fan some years ago. He had won a FA cup final ticket and hospitality long before the finalists were known. He then found his wedding day coincided with the match, but worse still, his team had made it to the final for the first time in his life. So he contacted the fans forum to asking if anyone wanted to take his place. To the first of hundreds of pleading responses he replied: "It is 2.15pm Worcester Cathedral, her name is Beryl. She'll be the one in white."

This is why we plan our weddings outside of the football season, boys and girls.

This is why we plan our weddings outside of the football season, boys and girls. But then it interferes with the cricket season. No wonder I’ve never married!
