So stupidly I entered the ballot for the London Marathon and didn’t expect to get in, well I did. I’m running 26.2 miles on April 22nd in aid of two local charities, St. Raphael’s Hospice (previously the clubs charity of the year) and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Both of these charities do amazing work locally. Below is the link to my sponsorship page if anyone would like to donate both myself and the charities would be very very grateful. I’m not going to lie the training is incredibly difficult, but I’ll get there. uk.virginmoneygiving.com/PaulAustin17

Thank you SmithyDownUnder.
Been a tough week as an old friend who was being treated by the Royal Marsden passed away a lot sooner than expected. 38 is no age to go.
Running the Hampton Court Half Marathon tomorrow as a training run to see how I’m doing on my training.

Still don't think that foreign nationals should be allowed to enter the London Marathon.

I hope you're going to wear a Sutton United shirt when you do it. Confirm it and I'll pledge some money.

Well done for doing this. I got home from our 4-0 win against Guiseley to be told that one of my best friends passed away from cancer in the early hours of Saturday. I wasn't able to donate much, but I hope it helps you hit your target. All the best to you.

I hope you can take some solace in knowing they are no longer suffering. Thank you so much for the donation it is going to two amazing charities who do great work with helping people and caring for them. Take care especially over the coming days/week.
