Andy K asked "Any I Missed".
There was a period, I think it was back in the early 1950s, when the BBC used to show amateur football matches live. I can recall a Bromley v Sutton United match being televised. At that time our next door neighbours were one of the few families locally to have TV, black and white of course, and I can recall standing near their front window hoping unsuccessfully to hear the commentary. I was not invited in to watch!
I can't recall the result nor whether it was an Athenian League or cup match.

They stopped showing live Amateur Cup Finals the year we got there in '63' due to the decline in popularity (I think). Attendances used to be 100,000 but went down steadily, with our game attracting only 49,000 ! Prior to that either the whole game or second halves were shown.

Can I please ask that the ripped Utilita signs are taken down from the stand before the televised game. Even if we are contracted to keep them up until the end of the season it does harm the Utilita and SUFC brand. I do not sit in the stand but it must obstruct the view from some seats.

Oh I don't know, I kind of like the Mad Max: Beyond The Thunderdome post-apocalyptic breakdown of civilisation suburban decay vibe in that area of the stadium.
But seriously, here's hoping someone with a long ladder and a head for heights takes those tattered rags down...

Is anyone else watching the Barrow v Hartlepool match on BT Sports at the moment? That Hartlepool kit is awful, they are literally camouflaged with the grass, I assume it’s better watching at the ground, blooming awful on the telly!
