CONIFA is bringing the world to Sutton ! Herewith I want to make you aware of the CONIFA World Football Cup 2018 being played in the Greater London Area from 31.05 to 09.06.2018. And...as well in your stadium! Sounds interesting, but what is CONIFA ? CONIFA (Confederation of Independent Football Associations) is a global umbrella organization for national teams not under the auspices of FIFA – representing nations, minorities, isolated dependencies or cultural regions. Who takes part in this ? - The CONIFA World Football Cup 2018 will bring together an eclectic mix of CONIFA members all over the globe. The participation in the tournament was determined based on qualification games/ tournaments, regional qualifications pots and two “Wild Cards“. Our participants are: From Africa: Barawa,Kabylia and Matabeleland From Asia: Panjab, Tamil Eelam, Tibet and the United Koreans of Japan From Europe: Abkhazia, Ellan Vannin (Isle of Man), Felvidek,Northern Cyprus, Padania and Szekelyland From North America: Cascadia From Oceania: Tuvalu Greater London Area, you say... Where do you play in particular ? - Our venues will be in: Bromley,Carshalton,Enfield,Haringey,Rotherhithe and Sutton. Great choice! And where can I get tickets ? You can get tickets directly from our online ticketing partner “Eventim“ here: www.eventim.co.uk/artist/conifa-world-football-cup-2018/conifa-paddy-power-world-football-cup-2018-2118672/?affiliate=CNF#calendar-start=2018-05 Or you can buy them at the stadium (if not sold out): The price for each ticket is for adults 10 pounds and for kids and youth under the age of 18 5 pounds. Special feature of your buy online: 1 pound goes to a CONIFA member of your choice. Even if they did not qualify for the CONIFA World Football Cup 2018. Please promote this event in Sutton and look forward to the great possiblity to have a “day out“ and enjoy this meaningful event in regard to football and cultural understanding. Further general information can be found on www.conifa.org Best wishes , Jens Jockel Asia President of CONIFA

If the pitch goes, the very last match played on it, maybe a WORLD CUP FINAL, I could not think of any better way to stick 2 fingers up at the EFL. SUFCtv will be covering CONIFA, are really looking forward it...

Would there be enough time to play any matches on it close season.Surely the pitch would have to come up straight away or can it be relaid in a shorter time frame.
However it would be marvellous to showcase this event on our 3G

Let’s worry about it IF we get promoted! I’ll leave it to the club management to worry about it now.

I'm gutted the group stages clash with my Barcelona trip. I suspect Tibet won't make it to the knockout stage...

I think he must be on his way out if he can't understand the difference between investing in the club's infrastructure and selling it up the river!

Who will be going to the game/s on Thursday? The early kick off times will not help the attendance!
