Do we love : Ross Lafayette I like stats, but this is just too close to call, we have 8 massive matches, we can't afford not to turn up at any one of them. Exciting init

I know I shouldn't but I keep thinking of our last home game vs the Shots.
The potential atmosphere!

I know I shouldn't but I keep thinking of our last home game vs the Shots. The potential atmosphere! Could be possibly around 3000/3500 at GGL! Should be a great day if we have already caught Macc or need to win to win the league by that point

Be a near sell-out I'd imagine if we're in with a chance of winning the league on the final day

Let's not think to far ahead. Whilst it's nice to dream we have 7 massive games before Aldershot to worry about. Cliche alert time, but it's seriously one game at a time territory now, starting with Chester on Saturday

Aye, now is also the time to roll out the classic every-game-between-now-and-the-end-of-the-season-is-a-cup-final cliche.

Macclesfield Town, we’re coming for you! You've still got to go to Fylde mate 😉

And you still have to go to Boreham Wood

Psychology is often as important as physical performance in football. That late equaliser by Ross will have dealt Macclesfield a significant blow, as they have to sit out Saturday knowing that a Sutton win would take us above them. It's now up to Dos and the players to rise to the challenge - but I expect them to be up for it.

We rarely win at Maidenhead ! We never win at Ebbsfleet ! Bromley would hate to hand anything to us ! AFC Fylde score bucket loads of goals ! Hartlepool are playing for the survival of their club ! Aldershot will be a beast of a game ! That leaves Halifax away on Tuesday night and Chester fighting against relegation ! Sounds easy.
Half glass empty. KBB

Whatever the outcome of the next 7 games its almost certain the home game vs Aldershot will be absolutely vital for positioning. Top 3 is everything in this new format. One way or another its going to the wire, none of the top 7 are good enough to be sure of anything and at least several points will be dropped by, IMO, all 7. If any side in the top 7 CAN put together a winning streak of all remaining games I expect them to be top of the pile. Equally, Fylde or Ebbsfleet look in the sort of form where they could easily storm the top 7 and go into the PO's as the form side. Bromley I am writing off due to their Trophy involvement and backlog.
On to Saturdays Must.Win.Game(tm) Its on paper our only 'easy' fixture and the psychological advantage of returning to the top of the table cannot be underestimated. We usually bounce back from poor performances and I hope Saturday is no different.

One thing to remember is in a tight situation goal difference means 1pt, and we have 5 over Macc, and that means in reality they are only 2pts clear and not 3. We need to win our games or its all pointless, pardon the pun, but if we are in a winning position we need to keep our foot on the gas and score as many as we can.
