We all have different opinions of course, which is great, but I think you are being a bit harsh on Maidenhead there. Course he is! Sure - it's not a patch on Tranmere but Maidenhead have a tidy new-ish looking main stand and a decent away end that's very close to the pitch (once they fully opened it up for us) - I did also like the painting of the club name in their colours (nice touch). I agree the new main stand is quite tidy and I like it but it just doesn’t really fit in the NLP in my opinion, same with Guiseley, they’re both neat little grounds but not good enough for NLP in my honest opinion but I can see why people like the ground. It’s an average ground for NLP but I just don’t think it fits in the 5th tier

I knew what you meant Ryan, just my silly sense of humour. You meant it was originally intended for a lower level. Maidenhead were founder members of the Southern League, so lower than NLS really.

Well given it's their first season at this level it would be unusual for them to have a ground that was even "the average" for the 5th tier. Should they stay up, which looks likely, I am sure they will make investments and improvements that are allowable within their financial situation. Depending on how long they can maintain their National League status we will be in a position to make a judgement on how impressed we are, or not. For a small and friendly club that has made progress up the pyramid I think it is a little harsh, and premature, to take the view of being unimpressed. But that's only my impression, others are entitled to their own views of course.

We must remember too that Ryan is a young man and has grown up with these more modern identikit grounds etc. Those of us who are not lucky enough to be young anymore can remember when old school grounds were the norm! How I would love to go to the Recreation ground Weymouth or New Writtle Street Chelmsford or especially the wonderful St George's Lane Worcester again!

Correct but even I prefer non league grounds to the typical large Premier League and Championship grounds as I’ve come accostimed to Non League and loved it and prefer it all over the higher levels of Football

Those of us who are not lucky enough to be young anymore I'm going off on a pointless tangent, but I've always found this expression weird. Everyone gets to be young, no luck needed there. It's the older you get, the luckier you are to still be alive

Let's also be fair, our ground is arguably somewhere between NLS and NLP

I don't know exactly how old you are Billy but there have certainly been a few untimely deaths lately. I hope it doesn't include anyone close to you.
