I do hope that there are some tickets left on Thursday! I'm planning to stay in tomorrow evening to watch Aldershot v Ebbsfleet on TV. (Roma v Liverpool is also on.)

In advance please, we want to avoid big queues of people wanting to collect immediately before the game. So for us travelling in from 'afar', what would the club prefer? Buy in advance and queue to collect just before 3pm on Sunday. [You'll have to tell me where from!] or queue up to buy at the turnstile. I don't mind doing either providing there is no doubt about getting in but I won't be able to collect in advance.

Do we know the allocation of Home V Away yet, or will that be decided after Thursday?

No, we do not. This has to be agreed with the SAG.

I was hoping to avoid queuing for ages tomorrow night. However, if, say, 1500 sth’s turn up and the first 800 buy 3 tickets each (as there is no quota) what happens to the other 700?
My example might be a bit unrealistic but am I missing something?

Or if the first person in the queue buys 4000?

I guess this is unknown territory for the club ticket wise and we are not playing Arsenal. I was hoping to be able to come down Thursday morning but i shall endeavour to get through on the phone.

To have no quota seems ridiculous to me. Likewise ST holders who can’t get down on a Wednesday night or get through on the phone run the risk of missing out on one of the Clubs most important games ever? I certainly understand and sympathise with the Club trying to maximise the revenue opportunity but my sense is there could be some very unhappy ST holders come Sunday and we’ve been down that road before.

I agree that it's hard to predict demand for tickets, but I wouldn't be surprised if the attendance on Sunday is lower than last Saturday's against Aldershot. That will have included some non-attending ST-holders and more travelling support than either Boreham Wood or Fylde will bring. Neither of those is exactly a big draw for the casual supporter. I'd say that a sell-out is unlikely, and we could be well short of that.

What sort of crowd are we expecting on Sunday?

Difficult to judge. It’s a Sunday which will give a chance for lots of neutral interest and second clubbers to pile in. I’d be surprised if we sell more than 3,000 home tickets. But . . . we’re a game from Wembley, 2 games from the Football League.
My take on it is if you’re a regular be sure and get your advance ticket and this will also be a big help to the club in managing entry on the day. I can’t imagine STH’s who buy after Wednesday are going to be disappointed!

I think regardless of what's at stake, there will be a number of STH's who won't come (and even a few have said it on here) for a variety of reasons - being on a Sunday, not willing to pay for another game etc etc.
Bottom line is that Borehamwood or Fylde isn't going to be as much of a draw as AFC Wimbledon/Leeds/Arsenal (as Mr Aleman said) even for a place at Wembley. At least there is a concession for us season ticket holders this time for advance purchase (however small that window is) so there has been learning. I also wouldn't be surprised if the gate for the game is lower than the Aldershot game. There's no way BW will bring 1000 (if the allocation is the same for that game) and doubtful Fylde will either.
So basically what Aleman said!
