I thought we could have a general play-off fixture thread for any games that might be of interest to people. Last night saw the two Bostik South play-off games completed which saw Corinthian Casuals and Walton Casuals both progress from their matches.
Tonight sees the following games (source: football webpages):
National League: Aldershot T v Ebbsfleet Utd (7pm) National North: Kidderminster H v Bradford PA, Stockport v Chorley National South: Hampton & R v Truro, Hemel H v Braintree T Evo-Stik South Prem: Kings Lynn v Weymouth, Slough v Kettering Bostik North: Bowers & P v Canvey Island, Haringey B v Heybridge Evo-Stik South-East: Hartley Wintney v AFC Dunstable, Hayes & Y v Cambridge C Evo-Stik South-West: Evesham v Swindon S, Wimborne T v Didcot T
Tomorrow night, I'm sure many eyes will be on the score at Boreham Wood v AFC Fylde in the other National League eliminator match with the winners travelling to us on Sunday. The Bostik Premier play-off ties also take place tomorrow evening with Dulwich hosting Leiston and Hendon taking on Folkestone Invicta.

Ebbsfleet beat Aldershot on penalties! Bet Tranmere were loving that!

Aldershot will forever wonder how they didn’t go through. I personally think Ebbsfleet is a tougher game for Tranmere but they must be strong favourites still given the efforts tonight.

47 games into the season and you concede a goal with a couple of minutes to go in extra time of the last game, then let a 2 goal lead in the penalty shoot out slip away. Not a night for the shots for sure, but for the neutral that would have been an exciting game to watch. I imagine most were watching similar excitement in Rome though.

Two goals for Bradley Hudson-Odoi tonight in extra-time helping Hampton & Rich see off Truro in one of the National South eliminators.

Surprising to see both Kidderminster and Stockport lose last night in their play-off ties in the National North - Bradford Park Avenue and Chorley progressing to the weekends semi-finals.

It's a shame that Stockport didn't win. 6,230 there last night. Big club and easy to get to on the train if we're ever in the same division or draw them in the cup.

On a local note, I went to Corinthian-Casuals Division One South Play-Off Final against Walton Casuals - always had a soft spot for CC. Rather a defensively dominated game which ended up going to penalties - albeit after a 15 minute delay when what appeared to be a serious outbreak of disorder when many people gathered behind the goal where the penalties took place. A crowd of 930 seemed to contain a small number of idiots who weren't attached to either club. That should not spoil what was a great afternoon at a fantastic little club. Walton gained promotion 4-2 on pens, hopefully Casuals will have better luck next season.

Well, the National League North and South play-offs have become of greater interest to us now. There were curious fortunes today for the teams finishing in second and third. Good news for us as the two favourites in the South, Chelmsford and Dartford, both fell by the wayside. Quite the opposite in the North though, with Brackley (who are still on for a promotion and Trophy double) joining Harrogate in the final.

I'm hoping that Hampton & Richmond go through and that could be our xmas fixture.
