Over twice this season - and both times for memorable 2-0 wins - key moments:
First game of season against Leyton Orient - record home league crowd and summer downpour.
Travelling to Newcastle - Gateshead away - 64 away supporters enduring horizontal sleet at half-time - great quote from Sutton stalwart: "Bloody hell mate - we're watching a crap match and now we're getting crapped upon."

Guiseley's lion dog! That was superb!
Adding to your lost Ossie, I'd put the battering of Macclesfield at home in the 2nd half and possibly my most enjoyable experience ever at Borehamwood. Ross's last min equaliser at Wrexham and winning at Tranmere

The whole season for me, win, lose or draw. A wonderful adventure.
Bonuses include Durham Cathedral visit.
Minuses (as I predicted at the beginning of the season), crap refs up North, Torquay's demise and Barrow FC's inability to believe a weather forecast.

My high is the return to the club of Tom B & Harry B. That shows the spirit Paul D & Ian B have built and continue to build with the playing staff. On the pitch - so many but if I pick just one that I witnessed it has to be Ross Lafayette’s stunning strike away at Wrexham, Tony Dolbear was commentating and I was next to him and leapt up in my chair surrounded by gobsmacked Welshmen and women...... Bring on Saturday August 04th, 2018. God bless the U’s and it’s supporters.

Maybe the thread should be titled "Your favourite moments".
The list is endless here are a couple.
Leaving Prenton Park with three points. That last minute winner at Victoria Road. Oh, I must add Chester away :-)

Good thread this, a fair few entries from myself..
* Leyton Orient (H) - a bumper crowd for starters and the fact I'd actually seen us win on the opening day; * Tranmere (A) - the win up at PP probably goes down as our result of the season and to be there in person was just magic seeing Dundas score the winner; * Tommy Wright's screamer at home vs. Dover - absolutely top drawer; * Tommy Wright's last gasp equaliser up at Hartlepool and the continuous playing of Jeff Stellings reaction on GSS which ensued for the train journey home; * Aldershot (A) - thought it was one of our season-best performances (v. unlucky not to win); * Dover (A) - awful conditions, reduced to 10 men early in the 2nd half we produced a superb battling performance (though we should have scored a few in the 1st half); * Tom Bolarinwa's goal at Ebbsfleet; * Aldershot (H) - a pressure game which saw us clinch 3rd place!!!

Ossie, our legal team will be in touch about this flagrant theft of our intellectual property.
Well, just as soon as we get a legal team that is...

Football-wise, the highlights for me were all of the away games where, after coming away with nothing last season, we returned this time round to take one or three points. We played well last season and sometimes came away feeling a bit hard done by but the results this season have been stupendous. My favourite was against Dagenham: Craig Dundas getting his 100th goal and Kenny Davis snatching the winner. The lowlight was the trip to Barrow and only learning of the abandonment by the time we reached Preston.
One of the other highlights has been witnessing the transformation of GGL as ground improvements have gone in and attendances have increased - it's great to see more people getting behind their local team.

Its been a memorable season and an even more memorable decade since Dos joined the club.
We will make a DVD if there is enough call for one, they take a long time and a lot of man hours to put together, so we will be asking for pre-orders before we go into production.
More news shortly..

Getting up at 5am to drive to Hartlepool only to leave in 95th min when eastmond was getting treatment & getting back to the car to hear Sutton had equalised I had to leave the ground early so I could get 8 week old baby Lucy fed, changed and secured in her car seat on the supporters' coach before it had to leave (I hope my fellow travellers have since forgiven me for bringing a baby on the coach). Unfortunately, this meant I wasn't in the ground for our equaliser. Fortunately, however, the coach was parked in such a way as to allow me a clear view into the ground where I could actually see the goal we were kicking towards and thus managed to catch a glimpse of the equaliser! Lucy liked Hartlepool for some reason - lots of smiles. Football is difficult with a baby, and my memories of this season are pretty baby-heavy including her first game at 6 days old (lost at home to Maidenhead - not one of my better memories).

In addition to the numerous memorable achievements of our first team, I'd also like to add: Sutton United Ladies clinching the GLWFL Division 2 South title on Sunday, and gaining promotion to GLWFL Division 1 at the first time of asking.
