Let's face it we can come up with 100 different possibilities but none will be the right one. The league will always find that 101st possibility! Anyone know when fixtures are being released? Last year it was in early July.

The make up of the league will be 10 "Northern" sides and 14 "southern sides" (taken from where each team would go if they were relegated) - last season it was 11 and 13.
With the demise of Torquay as well that means we only have 10 long trips next season rather than 12, so our travelling is a little better and now our trip furthest west is Wrexham.
14 teams all relatively close to each other, and if you do the pairings, it would be pretty odd for us NOT to be tied up with Bromley for the festive period.

Sadly Ebbsfleet Vs Braintree looks like too much of a stitch up. Depends does the fixtureman want to stitch up two teams a lot or 6 teams a little. Assuming the latter you'd expect Dover/Maidstone/Ebbs and Brommers to be paired up in some combo, with us having the usual BW excitment and braintree getting Barnet. Or Ebss could make the short trip over the thames and play Daggers with O's playing Braintree, in which case we would get Bromley. Aaaanyway, can tell there's some bored people on here. Only 3 months to wait lol!

O's v Daggers Ebbs v Braintree Maidstone v Dover BW v Barnet U's v Bromley Aldershot v Maidenhead Eastleigh v Havant
Aside from some possible flexibility with those first 2 fixtures, it's hard to argue against any of the others. And at least the league don't have to worry about not putting Wrexham and Chester together on boxing day to avoid trouble this season.

Let's assume for the moment that The Cat is right. Anybody want to take a guess at the August bank holiday fixtures?

For instance the 5? scheduled midweek fixtures. I predict that Dover will come to us on a Tuesday, but Dover will not be one of ours.

Anyone remember the last time we went there on a Saturday? At least 15 years ago I reckon. Edit: actually, come on, let's have a look at this. Tuesday 26 December 2017 - NL - W 4-0 Tuesday 7 February 2017 - FAT - L 0-5 Tuesday 22 November 2016 - NL - L 0-1 Monday 6 April 2015 - CS - L 0-2 Monday 9 December 2013 - CS - W 3-1 Monday 3 September 2012 - CS - L 3-0 Monday 26 December 2011 - CS - D 1-1 Tuesday 2 March 2010 - RYM - W 2-1 Tuesday 10 March 2009 - RYM - W 2-0 Saturday 26 April 2003 - RYM - L 0-3 Well I guessed 15 years - I was spot on! The last 9 times we've visited Boreham Wood have all been midweek.
