Tomorrow night sees us back on home “turf” after a succession of away games where we’ll use up our game in hand again the Wood.
An element of revenge might well be in our minds after the play-off disappointment against them we experienced in May, indeed a win for Sutton will see us jump to a lofty fourth place.
A big week ahead with three home fixtures. Come on U’s!!

I would love to see Tommy Wright playing behind Lafayette and Ayunga for this one. I reckon they'll create havoc upfront between them...

I’ve hit a golden patch with my predictions of late (I’m usually hopeless). Think B Wood will start finding their feet again pretty soon really rate LG the manager, nice chap and has a solid team. As mentioned earlier 3 home games on the trot how about 9pts....
Sutton United 2 Boreham Wood 0

Need to get these back for the play off game everyone of them should be froffing at the bit going into this.
Few pre match beers and a derby under the lights bring it on.
Come on the boys

Is it Boreham Wood against Barnet? I live in Kent so I don't quite get it either, but it's the 'Thameslink Derby'. It would be nice if Thameslink themselves would acknowledge it as important too. We (and more importantly) the away fans - might then all get home on time! - Didn't happen last time!

It's a Thameslink derby granted, but surely League One's Luton Town vs. AFC Wimbledon is the Thameslink derby...

If BW is a derby then we have a lot of those this year!
Bromley, Barnet, D&R and Orient all in London, and Ebbsfleet, Maidstone, Aldershot and Maidenhead probably closer than BW. From where I live I reckon you could add H&W and Dover to the list as easier venues to drive too. So lets go the whole hog and throw in Eastleigh and Braintree too with BW, and the closest non-derby becomes Solihull Moors!
So 23 home games and 13 away derbies. Sounds like not far off a season lower down the pyramid.
Regardless, really looking forward to this one.

It might be if afc played in Wimbledon! Fair point, but given their consistent inability to scrape together anything resembling a train service on any given weekend, I suspect that kind of nuance is lost on Thameslink.

At the moment it looks odds on that we will lose 4 southern teams next season so good time to move up.
