Not a clue what sort of team we will field tomorrow evening - a combination of the U-21 and academy sides I’m guessing.

As long as NB can play, he will need the game time to keep fit after his red car. And for a goalie how about Ross W again especially if it goes to penalty’s?

Is it straight to penalties or would there be extra time?
Edit: I should have clicked the link before I asked that pointless question. Straight to penalties it is.

There will be less Us fans there tomorrow than were at Wealdstone or Dublin!

Isn't NB's ban in the FA Cup only and not the league.

Apparently not. Yellow cards are only competition specific not red. On a totting up exercise, two yellows in the fac and you get a one match ban for the next round (assuming you're still in it).
Even so, the FA don't recognise the SSC as a first team match so it wouldn't count towards a suspension.

We have got 8 coming from our family, 2 of whom are over from Japan. I am hopeful we won't make up a significant proportion of the crowd, but given the "home" attendances last season in this competition I am not expecting many to come to watch.
After the last two games we've got to love cup football!

SCR 0 SUFC 2. We started with seven first-team regulars (including Ross Worner). Goals in each half from Tom Bolarinwa and sub Brandon McCarthy saw the landlords through. SCR did have their chances, but in the end it was fairly comfortable for United.

What did I say about Nicky B and Ross W, somebody must have heard me. What a fantastic game tonight and the way SCR played it would have put a fair number of National teams to shame, they are a credit to their league.

Some goal scored by sub Brandon McCarthy last night to make it 2-0. Excellent strike.

My rather tardy observations on Monday night.
Congrats to SCR for a fine performance and they played a lot of good football. Play like that every week and they will be knocking on the door of Bostik League football via promotion from the CCL. They have come a long way from Sunday morning's when Barry of Dogging Circle fame was in goal for them and I was refereeing in the Leatherhead & Dist League. Their current manager was up front and good to see he, like me, has mellowed in his approach to ref's!
U's scored two good goals - Bola's first of the season - and a superb turn and strike from Brandon McCarthy; he should be well pleased with that. Until that late second, SCR was well in the tie.
Ref had a decent game - except for a lack of advantage in one incident in the second half - but it wasn't a difficult game to officiate.
A decent gate for an SSC 1st round too.
Hartlepool away next. Another long day from south coast to n.e. coast. Wrap up warm it's going to be a bit chilly.
