I'm pretty sure I've scored goals for Sutton attending their youth camps by that logic. You've scored over 100 goals for us! Oh my, you're not actually Craig Dundas. Had me fooled

Yes, but it will be 8 degrees, positively balmy compared to the temperature for the 2 hours at Slough last week.

What's the bar situation at Braintree please? Really hoping for a pre-match pint having arrived too late at my last 4 matches.

A lad from the u-21 side who recently made a very assured debut against SCR in the Surrey Senior Cup.

The 15th of September was the last time both Maidenhead and Braintree kept a clean sheet in the league before playing us. Big 45 minutes to avoid a shocking double

Obviously going through a very sticky patch at the moment but finishing 2-2 after being 2-0 down with 16 mins to go is very commendable.
We keep having to push Cloughy up front so it looks on the face of it we are missing a centre forward who can hold the ball up.

There was a three-minute spell in the second half in which Braintree went 2-0 up, Dos was shown a red card, and Cloughie headed a goal back. That ushered in probably our best spell of the game, the new forwards posing more of a threat, and JC levelling things up from the spot.
We have a pretty dismal record at Cressing Road, so to salvage a point, even against the bottom club, was ultimately quite satisfying.
The match itself wasn't exactly a classic, played initially in persistent rain reminiscent of Slough a week ago. Both Braintree goals stemmed from quick breaks down our left, the resulting crosses being tapped in at the far post. We had chances in the first half, JC heading against the bar and, later, none of our players quite managing a telling touch in a goalnouth scramble.
The point keeps us 8th.

As soon as we put Clough up front it left a gaping hole on our back four. We conceded our second on the counter attack and by reckoning it was 3 forwards against one defender. Sending Clough up front is not the answer. If Dundo cannot last 90 minutes we need another target man. The two new signings cannot play that role.
