Dave is right, there are definitely issues with the official site as I am now getting 502 bad gateway messages on both Chrome and Samsung default browser on my Samsung Galaxy S8.
This is AFTER I cleared out both of their caches.
I can send you the screenshots if needed SG. I am also seeing This site can't be reached pages sometimes.
EDIT - It is now working on both browsers so whatever it is is intermittent. I don't know the architecture of your setup but could it be one of the servers being used isn't working correctly or the site hasn't been uploaded to it successfully and that server gets hit intermittently? I don't know if your host use a load balancer. I say this as I also saw a This page can't be reached message on the News page after refreshing it having seen it working correctly.
Anyway I will leave you to investigate but if you need any help testing the site give me a shout as I am a Software Tester/QA by profession.

Essentially, for the geeks among us, this is the new setup:
Amazon CloudFront in front of the main web server, which allows for caching of pages on the website, meaning that not every page view on the site will necessarily be served from the server itself - reduces the load on that server;
Separate Amazon CloudFront deployment linked to an S3 bucket where all the website images are stored - access to this is REALLY quick, and moving all of the images here has already had a massive impact on page speed and also hugely reduced the load on the server.
In the future, there may be some load balancing going on with auto-scaling on demand, so if the server starts taking a battering from loads of traffic, an exact replica will be launched and the load balanced between those servers, but I think we can probably manage without that for the time being.

I can't get access to the site if I use the link at the top of this page. If I type in the address it's fine

Seems there are intermittent issues for people using the "subdomainless" URL suttonunited.net - everything there *should* be redirecting to www.suttonunited.net, but that appears to not be working in all instances at the moment. Investigating...

Website down again. It's got a 502 error meaning that there's an issue on the server side rather than on the user side, so that means it's currently down for all.

Getting a 504 message today trying to access it from work laptop and also from my mobile (over mobile data and work wifi).
504 ERROR The request could not be satisfied. CloudFront attempted to establish a connection with the origin, but either the attempt failed or the origin closed the connection. If you received this error while trying to use an app or access a website, please contact the provider or website owner for assistance. If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by following steps in the CloudFront documentation (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudFront/latest/DeveloperGuide/http-504-gateway-timeout.html). Probably because of the news about Dos that too many people are visiting the site.
