A highlight of any National League sides season is a visit to Borehamwood. Full of matchday atmosphere. Usually generated by the away support because their home support is virtually non-existent.
£20 on the day, no student concessions, online tickets £1 cheaper. Would be worth every penny if we repeat last seasons result there.
Their form isn't quite as bad as ours, but they've had 2 wins in the last 10 games, and they've not won in 7 at home (Boxing Day against Barnet), and our record there has been "variable" to say the least.
Although not mathematically safe, they're 9 points above the drop zone with 5 to play. So really they only need 1 win to be safe and get past the 50 point mark (which will easily be enough to stay up). And remember this is a side that got to a Wembley play off last season and knocked us out on the way, our slight downturn in fortunes this season is nothing compared to theirs.

There is a £1 booking fee. LOL
Not for me this one. They can stuff their prices. Off to the Dripping Pan for a meaningful match.

It's matches like this one that make me glad I don’t have an obsession to watch every single Sutton game!

The wife is heading into London on Saturday and suggested I could drop her off at Cockfosters on our way down so she can jump on the tube and I can head to Boreham Wood to watch the game and then pick her up on the way back.
Therefore I will be there but I am not overjoyed with the prospect. I have been twice before with the last time on Boxing Day in 2011 for a drab 1-1 draw and I haven't missed it TBH.
The only upside I can think of is seeing their new stand. I so hope we win.

The official update says the game is segregated. BW are obviously a bit round the twist. Maybe they're expecting a lot of "Leave means Leave" turning up because of that wholly appropriate press release they did a couple of months back?

Swerving this one today and heading to Dorking Wanderers instead to see if they can wrap up the Bostik title with a win at home to Worthing. Would mark some meteoric rise for Wanderers who were only a Combined Counties side a few years back.

Nuneaton Borough v Chester for me. Just in case they don’t make to next season.
