The RSBCPB will no doubt be appalled that a baby has been taken out of the cotton wool it was delivered in and exposed to fresh air and social interaction. You're in trouble now.

Congratulations to the page 7 posters for keeping me laughing. This thread has gone from "Can we change the manager?" - No too expensive. "Can we change our luck?" - No, ran over black cat in car park. to "Can we change the baby?" Yes, provided it is returned unused in the original packaging. But SUFC will only exchange it for one of equivalent value - no refund will be offered.

Of course, it wouldn't be deserved. After all it's VERY SELFISH to take a child on an outing.

But if it’s Black Friday you can Bogof so that’s one for mum and one for dad, unless of course you’re billy then he will stay at home looking after them both while mum goes to football, that’s equality👨👦👦

Would feeding a baby outside of lunchtime and dinner time be unacceptable too? And what psychological problems will the baby have if it sat through a 0-0?
I think to balance things up all parents if babies should go to the match and spend all of the 90 minutes counting the crowd. I'm sure the RSPCC would find that approach wholesome and acceptable.

I undertake to count the number of babies in the crowd at the next home match.
Reports will be filed with the necessary authorities.
I'm so sorry Billy, you're absolutely right, I'm a complete idiot for taking my baby to football. Although sorry to waste your phone call to the RSPCB as I'm not there tonight.
I should be there with the baby on Saturday so you're well within your right to come up to me and reprimand me, see you then.
If you are one of those who stand behind/to the side of the goals may i respectfully ask you to take care, especially during the warm up when multiple balls can be flying around from all angles. The way Sutton are playing at GGL lately you will be much safer during the game itself !Accidents do happen.
A few years back during our annual trip to the Caribbean i was at Kensington Oval watching Barbados play the Leeward Islands.A young couple were there with two young children, one a boy of about 4 and the other a babe in arms. The boy was running his Dad ragged running around, banging seats and just being generally annoying while the Mum sat a few rows in front of me with the baby cradled to her left shoulder and the ever present mobile phone in her right hand.
Suddenly the batsman (Dowrich i think) pulled the ball high and handsome for a six heading for our section. As the ball dropped out of the sky and with Mum oblivious to the goings on as she was still doing something important on her mobile phone,a collective yell went up.What happened next still gives me nightmares.

I've done most of those things with my children. So what? You assuming that because we take them to football we can't possibly take them anywhere else? Amazingly enough, people are capable of doing more than one thing in a week!
When you have very small children most of your life revolves around them. You bend over backwards to keep them happy and healthy. That doesn't mean parents have to give up everything in their lives. Most of it maybe but we are still allowed to do SOME of our own things to keep us human! Otherwise we would all burn out pretty quickly. And then we wouldn't have the energy to do anything at all with them. Take it from me, a toddler who has a parent suffering from burnout is NOT a happy child.
You're clearly not a childcare expert mate so why not leave the parenting to those of us who actually know how to do it, eh?

I believe our youngest ever supporter attended her first match less than nine months after her conception?

Or his - I can't say for certain that Lucy holds that record, but yes, that would have been roughly eight and a half months. She was six days old, so I'm not sure you could truly call her a supporter at the time but now she absolutely loves shouting "come on Sutton, come on yellows."

We must be very close to that Ollie was born 13/11/02 and we didn't miss a home match that season?

We had a home game on the 16th, so he would have been 3 days old for that one!
