I take it barnsley did not make an offer for goodliffe then. Good news for us in the short term of course, but really Hope we don't lose him for nothing in the summer. Would be happy with a point today. No but they did sign someone from Tower Hamlets

We had a couple of chances in the first half but generally we were awful in very testing conditions. Much better second half and we have it a real go in the last 10 or so. After Harry equalised from a good David cross Tommy had a shot cleared off the line.
The ref let far too much go/missed a lot which was frustrating

Scrapyard football in a scrapyard stadium. Result was about fair; defences much better than the forward play (hats off Louis John in particular). David A was the zippiest attacker on the pitch but the less said the better about Sutton’s left flank today. Blunt as a spoon. Howlingly windy, sticky pitch, erratic ref and perhaps the worst cup of coffee I’ve ever had the misfortune to buy at a football ground (what brand of “coffee” do they use FGS?) Armpit of a place...and I say that as someone who lives in Kent these days. Apart from all that...

Ben Wyatt is a real find this season. What a shame we have very little on the left in front of him. Interestingly teams are targeting our right side and if they do that' DA goes further back. We needed to push on after we scored the goal. Instead we invited pressure as they won very second ball and we surrended posession far too easily. A point is better than nothing but we created few chances.

He was doing very well before he was hurt v Eastleigh and then came back and took time to find his feet and has got injured again!

Interesting because i thought Kyel Reid put in a good shift today. Not got the pace of DA but rarely loses the ball and crosses the ball well.

Hurts me to say so as I do remember Kyel terrorising Championship and League One defences in a Charlton shirt but the ratio of minutes on the pitch to goals created let alone goals is looking a bit threadbare at present

Interesting because i thought Kyel Reid put in a good shift today. Not got the pace of DA but rarely loses the ball and crosses the ball well. Thought he did well in the last 10 minutes when defending but generally is not close enough to opponents to win posession and will turn back or inside rather than get in the penalty area or to the byline to cross. Why would a player of his experience lack confidence?

Have you looked at your place recently, obviously not.? I don't drink the coffee so wouldn't know how good or bad it is, never heard anyone else moan about it though, but maybe that's what you like to do. As for the pitch is not very good I agree, as for the result, I think I may have to agree with you again. I just don't understand why people like you make such remarks.

Personally I quite like the stadium and the big old terrace, but Ebbsfleet as a whole is DEFINITELY an ‘armpit of a place’. Not a patch on the tropical delights of leafy Sutton.

I have to say i have no real view on your stadium which is perfectly adequate for non league football. What i am really surprised by is that you replace a really good large covered terrace with a small stand and other facilities whereas it would have been better built on the other side of the ground replacing the ageing stand that is still there now.

I think that, regardless of what your opinion may be, if you describe someone's stadium as a scrapyard and their area as an armpit, you are naturally going to make them defensive and entitle them to have a pop back.

Opinions, counter opinions... all good fun. We come in peace, honestly. Just sort the coffee out!

I'd be the last person you'd want to take coffee related advise from, absolutely cannot stand the stuff. One of my least favourite flavours alongside coconut and liquorice. I'm not a Fleet fan by the way, I'm a Gillingham fan with a soft spot for the U's. Where are you based medyel?
