Alton Town have been drawn at home to Cinderford Town. That would have been a nice draw for us! Other ties of local interest: Margate v Kingstonian Tooting & M v Staines E Thurrock v Carshalton And Lowestoft have been drawn away at Dartford. So we might be travelling to Suffolk on 9 October after all!

Alton look like they are in a south west part of the draw alongside teams like Bristol Manor Farm (gotta look them up) and some of our old adversaries.
Do they make up the sections of the Fa Cup draw as they go along, moving sides between different parts of the draw as they go.

......should imagine that they are spitting blood and feathers down at GGL.
I don't except the arguement that concentrating on the league was the priority, although it is now!!!!

Meh. Been and gone now.
That said, Carshalton having to go to ETU and K's to Margate has amused me. Arguably the two most unattractive away trips in the draw (awaits schoolkid response of "at least we're still in the draw")

Still so pissed off with us going out of the cup on Saturday and being made a laughing stock. Easily the most embarrasing result since I've been supporting the club.
Cinderford would on paper have been another comfortable draw but as we know by now - games arent played on paper.

Come on lets get over it.We are playing for much bigger stakes this season! As I kind of posted in another thread, win the league and Saturday will be nothing but a horrid memory towards the back of our mind. Cup runs are nice, but getting back to the Conference South is most important. And good luck to Alton v Cinderford, I hope they go far.
