Only bottles, I'm afraid, but the variable sales in a town-centre clubhouse with several nearby pubs make that the only economic option. And the fact that some of us have to drive or ride (motorbike, in my case, not pedal cycle) to matches. However, the Trawlerboys and other beers from the Greenjack Brewery www.green-jack.com/about are available at the not too distant Triangle Tavern and very remote Locks Inn, Geldeston www.green-jack.com/public-housesLowestoft Town Supporter

No fair, I'm sure the OWB was on draught when I visited! It should be on at the Triangle Tavern. Another Green Jack beer to look out for: the Baltic Trade Export Stout at 10.5%. (Eat your heart out, lagerboy!) ;D

And the Triangle Tavern has a website. It's not been updated for a while (still promoting the thumb wrestling and beer fest in August!), but I'll excuse 'em that. They even admit to serving lager! www.thetriangletavern.co.uk/index.htm

Hi People.
I'm a Lowestoft supporter and will be at the game Saturday. I'm also a real ale drinker and know where all of the good pubs are, especially The Traingle, which is superb and only 300yds from my front door (bonus).
I will be drinking in the bar after the game and I'm more than willing to show people where the Traingle is afterwards, to you can sample some of the best ales around, which include my personal favourite (Orange Wheat Beer).
See you at the game hopefully.

Cheers OWF, not sure how long we are around afterwards as some of us are on a pre-booked train back out (6.50ish I think).
I think we arrive before midday so will hopefully try a couple/few local pubs before heading to the ground.

A tip for a pub between the station and the triangle would be good, looking at the map it's about 15mins walk from the station and some of us won't last walking that long between drinks...

So the Triangle could now be a pre-match destination. According to googlemap it's about half a mile from the station.

I would think the Triangle will be our last pub before heading to the ground. So two on the way would be good.

So the Triangle could now be a pre-match destination. According to googlemap it's about half a mile from the station. Out of the station turn left up the pedestrian shopping centre and keep going till you come to a Triangle Market (Irish bar on the right) bear left and you will see the Triangle Pub. Have been informed by LTFC bar Manager there is a draft real ale on Monkey something and a Scrumpy as well see you tomorrow folks
