Terrible, tragic loss. Such a shame for the family.
While the financial downfall of Croydon Ath was somewhat inevitable, no-one could have see this coming.
RIP Mr le-Cluse.

Turns out an old mate of my dad has known him years. The old man was telling me a couple of weeks ago that Le Cluse was properly worried as the club was being investigated for the money laundering and being chairman, his signature was all over all sorts of paperwork related to the place. Perhaps he thought he was going to lose everything over it and decided this was his best option.

Shows what trust can do.
Of course this is only guesswork but 2 months ago he probably enjoyed life. Wife & 2 kids, his own business, chairman of a football club on the up. The developments of the last month and all the hassle that he would have had behind the scenes is enough to break a proud man, and looks like it may well have done so.
RIP. This is indeed very sad for all concerned.
