Shame about the state of Worcester's ground these days. You only have to look a their floodlight set up to realise it was a great stadium years ago. I suppose an attendance of just 188 didn't help in such a big arena, either. Can only echo that, even in its current condition I really liked it and think it will be a shame to see it go. I love the main stand, so much so that I twit-picced it: twitpic.com/327zb5

I think Andy K's analysis is pretty much spot on. The game was hardly a classic, and fairly even in terms of goalscoring opportunities. Evesham hit the bar in the first half and their keeper made a good save from Jolly. After Bradley had put us ahead they had a couple of late chances to take the tie to a replay.
That goal was the first we've scored away from home since Hastings on 7 September. Our players really need to find their goalscoring boots at Croydon Athletic on Wednesday.

A decent enough result in the end, in a game that never got properly going. It was nice to see BWG get on the score sheet and a clean sheet. October hasn't been the best of months, p8 w3 d3 l2 in all competitions but it's nice to end the month on a win and to pocket £3,000 from winning the game as well.

Whilst we were not looking, Concord Rangers have sneaked up to 4th on gd above Tonbridge. Our opening day result there now looks a lot better than it did at the start of the season! Yeah, but if we'd beaten Concord, they'd be at least 8th!
