What are peoples thoughts on it tomorrow? I miss the preview on the official site before the game so can't gauge on team news the day before. I don't really know much about Evesham United but am expecting another tough-ish game.

Finished 1-0 bwg deflected shot having been given space in the box. Not a fantastic performance but we deservedly made it thru, Evesham had 3 good chances but couldn't convert them.

We did what we needed to do and not much more.We were the better team but we are still not creating enough chances. With the return of Craig Dundas hopefully playing up front we may get back to the team we were earlier in the season. For me Andy Forbes doesn't really fit the bill as our centre forward.

Well we are in the draw for the next round so job done I suppose.
I personally would not like to sit through a real time replay of the first half but the second half seemed better and we won.
Still think there is something missing right now compared to the early season performances but perhaps we can put that right against Croydon

A functional, in unspectacular performance between two sides who looked good in defence, but a little lacking ideas up front. Remember we were playing a team on an equivalent level to us, so we should not have expected a win. I think over the 90 we deserved the 1-0, but yet again there were periods of play where we were hoofing. Most of our best chances came from good build up play. The most disappointing thing for me today was the standard of our balls into the 6 yard box from both wings. They seemed a little weak and half hearted. The hard work creating that space was great, but the delivery of the final ball wasn't fab. Davis got what I believe to be his 5th booking of the season, ( I could be wrong ) in a clumsy challenge, although with a bit of support from his team mates, he may not have ended up that way.
Players of the match for me - Scriven (he seems to be every game, so I need to look beyond!) and Ebsworth - don't think he put a foot wrong for me today and really worked hard.
Now to the draw on Monday - as well as the BSS teams coming in, we could draw the likes of Cirencester, Hornchurch, Margate, Billericay, Sudbury (who stuffed Hendon 5-1!). Brackley, Cambridge City, Swindon Supermarine, Truro, Harlow (who beat a certain team of bobbins). Ashford Town (Mx), Maidstone, Bideford, Romford and some other teams, including the winners of Ks V Wealdstone.
Whilst we were not looking, Concord Rangers have sneaked up to 4th on gd above Tonbridge. Our opening day result there now looks a lot better than it did at the start of the season!

OS not there today, but we have proven strikers who will score for fun given the right ball, in recent games they have just been given too much to do. The ball is often long or a poor one, or mostly our goals are coming from individual efforts rather then interplay? How many tap ins have we score this season not many?
OS did have a bet today on Tonbridge / U's / Eastleigh and what should have been Cray, only I spent most of this evening wondering how Cray managed to lose when 1-0 up with 6 mins to go. When I checked my bet I noticed I had selected Maidstone by mistake :-)

It was all about winning yesterday and we did. Not a great perfomance but it proved enough. The only downside was TD picking up his 5th booking & thus missing the Margate trip. Still, who can blame him for that?
Shame about the state of Worcester's ground these days. You only have to look a their floodlight set up to realise it was a great stadium years ago. I suppose an attendance of just 188 didn't help in such a big arena, either.

If it's going to be away, I'm hoping for Brackley. It's 2 minutes from where I work and the playing surface is excellent.
