It all sounds too good to be true. Attendances are still dire and finances are still dire. Good luck all the same.

Fodboldsekskabet, irony?

"With a large group of people involved in Fodboldsekskabet, travel excursions to Britain are being planned with several hundred down on the list waiting to increase the attendance at the KT Stadium over the forthcoming months. In addition there are plans to bring in Danish Championship players in the New Year to bolster the squad."The mind boggles

Hahaha! They're the utter morons who tried to take over at Chester from Vaughan. They're idiots and managed to completely alienate the Chester support in no time at all.
That'll end badly. You mark my words.

Nevertheless, I'd prefer to get our rearranged league game against them in before there's any chance of them bringing in better players.

I imagine that the club was actively looking for new investors. One of Croydon Athletic's attractions is that a majority shareholding would come relatively cheap!
For the club's sake, one hopes this wasn't an act of desperation.

See a certain Mad Dog Hartburn played for Croydon Athletic vs Hornchurch. Be interesting to see if anymore signings follow in the coming weeks if they bring in more experience to the squad

Yes, Hartburn as signed. There is also the possibility of some of the players who walked out earlier in the season returning, apparently.
I feel a bit sorry for the lads who have kept them going, who will probably be jettisoned. And what future for Mr Garland?

Oh, that's a good idea. Sign more full-time pros and see what happens...

Football at this level needs to look at itself very closely imho. Clubs attracting players that their income (not from fat cats) cannot sustain should be questioned thoroughly before any signings are made. Are you listening Mr Tur*ey? On another subject , posting about CA has just reminded me of that wonderful feeling of euphoria this morning when the storms came too late to save the Aussies. ;D

I agree with Filbert how on earth can a team with less then 80 supporters be allowed to sign full time players!
Just how daft will the situation in non-league football be allowed to get before the leagues act?
