The Met Office reckon the latest cold snap will last at least another week, with more snow forecast. It's not looking good for our SSC match at Molesey tomorrow night, and there will a few fingers crossed for the derby game at Bobbins' place on the 27th.
Better news is that a thaw is expected for New Year. Our next game could well be Tooting & Mitcham at home on 1st Jan.

I wonder how many of my four scheduled flights over the Christmas period will actually go ahead!

When would the break be ? You have a break in December and January, only for the bad weather to hit in February. Games across Summer months would end up being a stroll !

About an inch added tonight. Not really that cold though. Anyone up for doing the traditional pre game pub crawl without the watching the game bit?

The Met Office don't seem to have much of a clue for the end of the week and the forecasts keep changing. In theory there will not be much snow around from now until the weekend, xmas day should be cold and frosty. We may get 48hrs of mild weather between then and the match to get a thaw, but I would not put money on the pitch being playable to be honest

The Met Office don't know what's happening later today let alone the end of the week.
I can't help but think they can't find their arse with both hands and a candle!

KBB Exactly what I've always said. Last year, we had heavy snow in April. This year, it started in November. Winter breaks for the sake of avoiding bad weather simply wouldn't work in our climate. If the bobbins game is off, I'm jolly well staying in Scotland until the new year ;D

Snow levels seem to be receding fast.At this rate and with little further snow forecast the Bobbins match should go ahead.

Hang on, the Met Office are now talking about "significant snow" coming up from France and possibly catching the South East at the weekend! Keep watching, folks.
