The greatest goalscorer of all time , bar none although Denis Law was (and still is) my personal favourite.

I believe Mr Greaves has been in management recently, doing a couple of games in charge at Whitham Town while his son (the actual manager) was away with work.

He used to glide through defences as if they were not there. I know from painful experiences watching him play against the Foxes for Chelsea and Spurs. We didn't get a point. Once at WHL he took a penalty against Gordon Banks while he was getting his hat from inside the net - the goal stood too.

I remember that ! Wasn't Banks standing inside the goal wiping his gloves in the side netting ?
A few years ago the same sort of thing happened in a Leicester game at Old Trafford. The idiotic clown Barthez was standing on the goalpost messing about when Muzzy Izzett knocked in a penalty. They should have let that one stand as well.

It was a sunny day at WHL and I was behind the goal at the other end. Banksy did something silly after the ref had told Greavsey to take the pen. The Barthez incident was a flagrant bit of gamesmanship you could even say cheating.
