Andy Carroll.... £35mil+ going to Liverpool... DISCUSS!
This is why I'm really starting to get fed up with football, I'm starting to think it is too corrupt and a money making organization, the money spent on people these days is absolutely ridiculous.
But what does everyone else think?

More than David Villa cost Barca. 1 England Cap is worth more than a World Cup Winners medal.
That said, being Welsh, I'd kill for a striker rated at £5million let alone £35million.
Also, I saw on twitter that BWG rates himself as worth at least £500k on that scale which is doing himself down in my opinion!
On the other hand, seeing Geordies and Scousers lose their heroes on the same day is hilarious...

I believe its rather a panic move by Liverpool but if that what it takes to prise him away they will pay it.In my opinion the formation of the Premier league has had a detrimental effect on all the clubs below them as the money does not seem to flow downwards any more.

Crawley seemed to have bought someone from Dumfirmiline. I wonder if they've given him a house?

Andy Carroll should fit in well at Liverpool, as he has just the right experience.
No, I'm not talking about scoring goals in the Premier League. I mean his impressive record of brawling in nightclubs.

Carroll might prove to be a decent player in a few years. But £35m for 11 Prem goals & 1 England cap?
The world has gone farking mad.

Although Carroll still has massive potential. I don't really think he is worth bloody 35 mil! That's even more than David Villa!

Am I A £35m Striker?
I scored 24 goals helping my side win promotion back to the Premier League aged just 22.
Then in my first season in the top flight I had bagged an impressive 15 goals by the end of January. Including a goal against the reigning champions, away at Arsenal and in a home win over Liverpool. My form earned me an England call-up and my debut in an international friendly.
Am a I £35m striker?
No, I am Michael Ricketts, February 2002.
