Full time at Sutton and Tooting. Get in! I wish I had travelled now. I'm trying to save some money, but the 200 mile round trips on Tuesday nights are the first thing to go.

By my possibly-quite-shoddy calculations, even if Lowestoft win their games in hand, we would have points supremacy?

First half wasn't great but we came to life late in the 2nd half once we started knocking the ball around which is what we need to more, once we start doing that we look great. Lets keeping knocking the ball around boys and playing a little bit and get the boys out wide and we will be fine

Don't think they were the sort of oppo you can come out and just knock the ball around. Hard earned victory against a strong side. They lack a cutting edge.1st goal as always key and allowed us more space to play. Great result, need to produce again Sat, we need to try and stay a little more relaxed early doors but easier said than done.

But the first half we just went long which was pointless when they had Fletcher at the back winning headers for fun, Dos was screaming at Bradley to get out wide which he wasnt doing, We cant go long so we need to knock it around.

I know what you're saying and ideally we would do but that is easier said than done. They gave us no time.

First half was typical when playing any McBride/MFarlane side. As when at Thurrock, they put together big strong sides who work hard for each other without being anything spectacular. So, while some may say that we need to knock the ball around more & U's the flanks, getting the time to play such a ball is very diffcult.
It was the same for the second half too until Dundo put us one up. Hornchurch probably lost some edge then as U's gained momentum. Then came Dundo's fantastic second goal - 30 yard strike that moved in the air & left Behcet stranded in his goal.
The third was another well worked goal & an excellent first for Leroy.
Another hard working performance. Like on Saturday a strong defensive display gave U's the platform to go in search of goals later in the game.
Dundo has to be MoM tonight but it was another great all round performance the only downside being Tom Davis' 10th yellow of the season (out for Maidstone & Wealdstone games).
Thought the ref was alot better than on Sat but Dundo's booking was a bit harsh as no U's player appealed for anything & he didn't looked to have dived.
Although Lowestoft lost tonight they will be a tough cookie on Saturday so another big performance needed.
Well done lads, very good win tonight.

I thought AFCH came out of the blocks flying and it was a tight, even first half of few chances. Second half they seemed to tire a little and we eventually broke through with a neat bit of play putting Dundo through to slot past the oncoming keeper, still Behcet who we had for a brief spell. They pushed out and we exploited gaps, Dundo bullet from a good 25 yards for the second and Griffiths at the back post made it three late on. Hornchurch were strong in midfield and made it tight but i think we certainly deserved victory, though 3-0 wasn't necessarily a fair reflection of the match.
Hitting form at the right time with our run of games we're in the midst of, long may it continue.
I see on the oppo's forum they state how good our support was, well done all on plenty of noise tonight.

From reading Lowestoft's forum also, they seemed to have played well, reading between the lines. They had a goal chalked off for offside at 1-1 aswell.
Going to be a toughie on saturday but we've got the momentum and home form. let's hope for another three points.
